What a year! 2021 has seen tremendous growth at ELSA. We are now a community of 25M+ learners around the world. 

New Learning Pathways

We developed new personalized learning pathways to support the individual needs of our users. Users can now choose to follow a predetermined path focused on common errors or choose a more dynamic path that adjusts to their level after every practice session.

New and Advanced Pronunciation Skills

ELSA’s advanced AI capabilities now allow learners to practice advanced pronunciation skills such as Linking Sounds, Dropping Consonants, and the Flap Sound. With the introduction of these new skills, ELSA can now help learners speak English more naturally and fluently.

Homework Assignments

We added homework assignments, allowing teachers around the globe to create flexible English curriculums for their students. Teachers can now select and assign content to their class. Students simply open the app to practice lessons that have been assigned to them. 

Oxford Business Result Book Series

We’re very proud of our new partnership with Oxford University Press. The Business Result series allows users to practice business English content from one of the UK’s most renowned ESL publishers while receiving feedback from ELSA’s leading AI technology.

IELTS Speaking Evaluation

You asked, we listened! Many of our learners want ELSA to help them prepare for the IELTS speaking assessment.
Now through the ELSA platform, learners of all levels can prepare for IELTS speaking tests using ELSA’s mock assessments.
We will be adding more materials for other tests in 2022.
